KABIRU SOKOTO REARRESTED

It's official,the alleged mastermind of the Christmas day bombing in madalla-Kabiru Sokoto has been arrested by Security Operatives in Taraba State.

However, since Kabiru could not run for too long, Soldiers and personnel of the State Security Service, who had been on his trail, were able to actually re-arrest him on February 10, at about 0430 hours. Addressing security correspondents in Abuja, the Deputy Director Public Relations of the Service, Marilyn Ogar, who said that Kabiru Sokoto was presented hot to the press to avoid speculations, however kept mum on how he escaped from custody, claiming that they had no opportunity of interrogating him before his parade. Ogar, who told journalists that the re-arrest was a joint effort of the military and the SSS, said that he was rearrested at Mutum-Biu in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State.

“Kabir Sokoto, who has been linked with the Christmas Day bombings at Madalla, Suleja, Niger State, was picked up from where he was hiding in a clothes-rack, at the residence of an accomplice. On his escape, he had taken refuge at Umaisha in Toto Local Government Area (LGA) of Nasarawa State before he fled to Taraba State where he was eventually rearrested,” she said. In view of this, the SSS disclosed that the accomplices, who could not give Kabiru up in spite of the whopping N50million ransom, were also arrested with him, but were not paraded.Umar had escaped on January 14, barely two days after being picked up at the Borno State Governor’s lodge in Abuja, following an intensive surveillance on him for six months by 66 police detectives drawn from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), the Counter Terrorism Unit and Criminal Investigation Bureau.It was learnt that majority of the officers involved in monitoring his movement for almost six months before his arrest in Abuja, were about 45 Assistant Superintendents of police (ASPs) who were trained on tracking devices and counter-terrorism operations in Israel, shortly after the bombing of the police force headquarters on June 16, last year.It was also gathered that an analysis of his mobile phone recovered by police detectives after his arrest, had revealed stunning recorded conversations with frontline members of the Boko Haram sect as well as some prominent members of the society.Among such recordings in the phone, according to highly dependable sources, was his conversation with the suicide bomber who struck at the Louis Edet House police headquarters in Abuja, a few moments before the attack.“It was embarrassing and painful that Kabir Sokoto escaped from custody after his arrest which took time and concerted efforts to actualize.

It is true that his phone had been recovered, and I can tell you that the recordings therein are stunning. There are so many highly placed individuals, mostly politicians, involved. And from all indications, the suspect was deeply involved in most of the bombings. In fact, he was the co-coordinator.“The suicide bomber who attacked the force headquarters in Abuja made a last minute phone call within the radius of the Federal Secretariat in Abuja on the day of the incident. And that call from the bomber was placed to Kabiru. And there are several of such calls and recordings in his phone linked to influential politicians and top government officials”, a security source who pleaded anonymity, confided in our correspondent.Kabiru, is said to have been born to the family of Umaru Jabbi of Gagi village, Sokoto south LGA of Sokoto State.

He was said to have been instrumental to the visit of the late National leader of the Boko Haram Sect, Mohammed Yusuf, to Gagi village in February, 2009, during which he was declared leader of the Sect in Sokoto State. Assuring that the security agencies were poised to bring to an end the activities of a few unscrupulous elements, Ogar said that investigation on Kabir Sokoto was still ongoing, adding that as soon as it was completed, he would be charged appropriately to court.

They will run but they won't be able to hide, our God will fish them out.Don't relent in this task of praying against terrorists.

At about midday Yesterday(7th of February,2012), a man dressed in Military uniform was driving into a military Base in Kaduna(North-West Nigeria) in a Toyota Sienna bus, he was stopped for routine checked, but he sped off.
Consequently, the soldiers opened fire on him and his car exploded killing only him- the suicide bomber.
Elsewhere, there were triple explosions n the town of Kaduna State.In Kano, security operatives pursuing Boko Haram members stormed a home, shooting their way in to seize some suspects.
In the raid on the house at Mariri Quarters on Maiduguri Road, seven members of the sect were killed.
Gunshots were heard as the security operatives engaged the sect’s members in a battle that lasted for about seven hours.
A security source said a large cache of arms and ammunition, including AK 47 rifles and assorted explosives, was recovered.

The Assistant Director Army Public Relation at the 1Mechanised Division, Lt.-Col. Abubakar Edun, said on telephone: “We are on top of the situation”.

The Public Relations Officer of the Air Force Training Command in Kaduna, Squadron Leader M. Ali, denied that an explosion occurred at the NAF Base. He said: “The bomb exploded outside the premises of the Air Force Base and as such, the Air Force does not have an opinion on the explosion. Although the explosion was close to the NAF Base gate, it wasn’t within our premises.”

When asked whether the Air Force was investigating the incident, Squadron Leader Ali said: “No; since it is not within our premises, investigation is left for the police to carry out. We wouldn’t know where they were carrying the bomb to before it exploded.”

When problems such as Terrorism spring up, they are usually challenging and threatening to the peaceful existence of a place. It is usually best attacked wholly, hence we ask God to destroy terrorism in Nigeria from its roots. We are interceding that God would solve terrorism issues in Nigeria once and for all.
Stand for something, stand against something, take a stand against terrorism and Terrorists(Boko Haram and MEND etc). 5 minutes of prayer against Terrorism and Terrorists would go a long way in tackling the monster staring at us, you have 1,440 minutes in a day,use it for good.

SHOCKING REVELATION FROM BOKOHARAM GROUP#:The Boko Haram sect has cited the stoppage of its monthly financial support for the recent attacks on northern states,claiming that the group was until recently being bankrolled by some northern governors.The claim by the group came as it also alleged that former President Olusegun Obasanjo was in its firing range last September but was spared because of his tolerance of the sharia Islamic code during his presidency.An unnamed high ranking official of the group alleged that the Ibrahim Shekarau administration in Kano made a monthly N10 million donation to the group while the Bauchi Governor, Alhaji Isa Yuguda besides financial commitments was also an admirer of the military prowess of the group.The group has, nevertheless,dismissed any personal grouse with President Goodluck Jonathan, alleging that the problems with the administration were carryovers from what it claimed to be the callousness of the Yar‘Adua administration in waging war against the group.The allegations were made by a high ranking official of the group to the online publication 247ureports.com.Mr. Michael Ishola, Chief Press Secretary to the Bauchi State Governor, Alhaji Isa Yuguda, however, debunked the claim as a “very, very strange allegation".The newly appointed Special Adviser (Media) to the Kano State Governor, Mallam Halilu Dantiye on his part,claimed ignorance of any monthly payment to the group by the Ibrahim Shekarau administration which the present administration succeeded as he claimed that there was no such issue contained in the handover note.Noting that the attacks on Kano and Bauchi arose from the stoppage of the financial support to the group by some northern governors, the official in the disclosures to the publication said that the entire northern governors have ongoing relationships with the group.“Most of them pay us monthly to leave their states alone”.It was alleged that the Shekarau administration reached an agreement as far back as 2004 to be paying a monthly support of N5 million to the group which was later raised to N10 million sometime in 2009.The agreement also reportedly included infrastructural support.The support was,however,allegedly stopped at the inception of the Kwankwaso administration in May 2011.The publication alleged that the Kwankwaso regime also turned against the group dismantling its infrastructure in the state.“We warned the Governor of the consequences.We concluded on Kano in December 2011,” the source said.Shekarau’s spokesman,Sule Yau did not respond to the allegations yesterday as he did not respond to a text message sent to him.Mallam Dantiye Special Adviser to Governor Kwankwaso claimed ignorance of the alleged support saying that nothing like that was contained in the handover note received from Shekarau.On Bauchi, the publication reported that Governor Yuguda reached a similar agreement with the leadership of the group for the payment of N10million monthly to the group alongside the provision of training grounds on the many mountains scattered in Bauchi State.The governor it was reported also promised to give them security against arrests by the federal government.The agreement was supposedly reached in June 2008 but mid 2011,the governor reportedly stopped the disbursement of the funds.Mr. Michael Ishola,Chief Press Secretary to Governor Yuguda also refuted the allegation against Governor Yuguda. “It is a very, very strange allegation,because the Isa Yuguda I know cannot be involved in such an allegation. We in Bauchi have been living in peace. We are not involved in that,” he told Vanguard yesterday. Why we didn’t kill Obasanjo — Boko HaramWhile noting the group’s reservations on the mediation initiated by President Obasanjo with the group through Babakura Fuggu, in-law of Mohammed Yusuf, the slain founder of the group, the publication disclosed that the new leader of the group,Imam Abubakar Shekau,had considered priming Obasanjo for assassination as the September 15, 2011 exchange approached.According to the publication:As Obasanjo concluded his secret meeting the previous day at the Green House with three other religious group [Jamatu Nasirl Islam, JNI and CAN] in Jos,the capital of Plateau State on the Wednesday of September 14, 2011, and took off the following day to Borno State,the terrorist group, according to the source, marked the former President within their ‘firing range’ from the moment he landed in Borno State at minutes after 11am till he departed the State in the late afternoon of the same day.According to the source, “we were not sure of him”.“He was going to be a big catch” said the source who explained that the leadership halted the operation as Obasanjo went inside the residence of Babakura.“Obasanjo was good to us.We had no problem with Obasanjo.We had him. We could have taken him out”, as he recalled that the sharia movement took off during the period when Obasanjo was president. “The problem started during the late President Yar’Adua regime. I welcome you to this blog which is created to spiritually fight Terrorism in Nigeria.

Friends , with the bombings which have resulted in the destruction of life and properties in our country by the Terrorist Group – Boko Haram,I have decided to take a stand concerning this ugly situation . Late President John F. Kennedy of United States said “The Hottest part of Hell is reserved for those who don’t take a stand in times of Crises”

Mr. President,(GEJ) said Boko Haram had infiltrated the Military and believe me they (Boko Haram) have moles in the FEC(Federal Executive Council) and other Arms of Government. The mysterious escape of Kabiru Sokoto (a prime suspect for the 2012 Christmas day bombing),suspected Boko Haram assailants killing Policemen in Military and Police Uniform confirm this.
Clearly the complexities of the security situation has overwhelmed our leaders and Security Agencies.
My drift is, let’s turn to God For solution, as Christians the Bible says we are “the light of the World”, let’s not allow the darkness of terrorism to prevail while we are here. Let’s rise to our responsibilities because the Bible says “A city that is set on a Hill cannot be hidden”.
Since the beginning of the onslaught of these terrorists on Nigerians, we have lost a total of 955 people and we don’t know what they are planning next. With our prayers we can disarm them and expose them and their cohorts.
Don’t sit on the Sidelines or Stands and complain, get on the “Pitch” and Pray.

Someone once said “If there is a people to pray there is a God to answer”. There is no heart that God cannot reach, The says in Proverbs that the hearts of the Kings are in the hands of the Lord and He turneth whithersover he wants. These people can be arrested by God and converted to His servants.
